Residential: Baby’s Nursery
What child doesn't dream of his bed-time-story friends coming to life?
Little Even has a bit of help — Michael Lee has used his brush to stitch the lively characters from a favorite quilt into a larger-than-life parade cavorting on the sunny yellow walls of the bedroom!
Alligator lurks behind the dresser, while Giraffe cranes his long neck to peer out above the bay window. Whimsical quilted palm trees sway in the breeze.
The textured stitching of the appliqued quilt is lovingly recreated on every edge and seam. It’s difficult to believe these walls are made of sheetrock and not of fabric!
Even’s parents gave Michael Lee carte blanche to do whatever he thought would look the best as they were preparing the room for the baby that was on the way. They had already purchased the bedding for the crib, and it served as inspiration for the project.
Plain white walls give way to storybook fantasy... every child’s dream.
